hey guys, its not done yet, i gotta remove the adhesive from the stripes, give her a good bath and wax, also have to repaint the wheels (solid black) and gunna paint the headliner. also going to add side graphics probably. what yall think so far?

JapEatr has in his sig what i was hoping to accomplish. except the red is going to be yellow. as stated the orange paint was either bad or the gun. it wouldn't spray right and it was a siphon feed gun which i read is hard to use. i have a professional spraying it next after i redo all the prep work. I'll def post up the newest pics when i get it completed in the near future. thanks for all the opinions so far though.

i think the orange should have been a slightly brighter shade and that you should have painted the trunk. but once the wheels are painted i believe it will look alot better with the orange/black combo

honestly I think the first pic there, the way you had it, was so unique and clean! I absolutely loved it!

 

First one... I hate orange.

 

For the love of everything ever said, heard, seen, felt, smelled, thrown, caught, eaten, drank, kicked, punched, spit on, waved at; leaned against, and especially ever painted.........do NOT turn your car into that orange monstrosity! Black and yellow looked sick!

 

If I HAVE To pic one, I say the first, if you lose ALL the decals and the stripes going down the grille.

If I had to pick #1 is more attractive.

#2 looks like it needs a wide body and a roof scoop.... Just saying..

no, the wheels are getting painted solid black and and the calipers will be orange

orange wasnt by choice. i actually ordered the wrong color and thought it would turn out a bit brighter than it did. I will be painting it back to yellow were the orange is either later this summer or early next year.

the paint was ok, it came out a little rough but I used acrylic urethane, I think it was a basecoat when i wanted a topcoat and it didnt say it on the can. I will be using acrylic enamel on the next one and orange will be yellow again within the year. i ordered orange instead of yellow by accident.
