The orange looks like that chalkboard paint. Just take to someone and have it professionally done. I respect you trying to do something different but think it out a little bit.

yea the orange almost looks spraybombed on there... no gloss to it at all really. it just looks off. plus its an ugly shade of orange. honestly i like the 1st one better. I think its time for you to go a new direction

to both of you. thanks. yea the paint came out kinda rough. overall i'm not very happy with it. i have a friend who knows someone that does it semi-professionally and givin me a good deal on gettin it redone. looks like i'll be redoing it. probably be doing the prep work myself and havin a guy with experience do the painting. (i think the gun i used was what messed it up)

not a huge fan of either one but prefer 1 over 2 looks like it was sprayed in someone's back yard with auto zone paint even though i don't think autozone has flat orange. Just remember you get what you pay for.

If your going to two tone it again i would paint everything down from the body line instead of leaving like the lip kit black.

Not a big fan of that orange at all, the black with yellow stripes is better

I liked #1 better minus the stripes .... I'm not a fan of 2-tone paint jobs.

that shade of orange like you said is a no go there OP, but I think you should paint the lower side skirts and front and rear pieces as well to color.

Why the hell are the stripes on the grille?

It's a good thing I love my broBalt because some of the cars on here just make me sad.

Ugly before.... sorry man it's UGLIER now.

I'm all for being different if it's done subtly and cleanly!

To me the paint doesn't even look good.... looks splotchy.

before looks like a road marking truck striped your car the only thing thats missing stripes is the windshield
after.
maybe more time and effort in the paint you coulda pulled it off looks like a bunch of teens tried painting it with rattle cans
maybe on a honda

JapEatr has in his sig what i was hoping to accomplish. except the red is going to be yellow. as stated the orange paint was either bad or the gun. it wouldn't spray right and it was a siphon feed gun which i read is hard to use. i have a professional spraying it next after i redo all the prep work. I'll def post up the newest pics when i get it completed in the near future. thanks for all the opinions so far though.
