vette mod :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wlyn0auVak

quick pic of it, kept it clean, no mess of wires anywhere, just 2 wire looms going up

used a pair of 3157 red LED bulbs in the reverse light housing...tinted the tails so they all had the same tone of color

i will be wiring up my third brake light as a reverse light :p red light is better than no light when backing up...plus i dont like how it has that delay when i press the brake

this is what I was gonna do 1st b4 I tried to do the LED strips. I might try it this way again. I was just gonna throw a white bulb behind one of my mesh grills in the back of my car so people know I am backing up. IDK, was an idea though

Thats exactly what Im thinking. Get 2 of those short white neon tubes or leds strips and put them behind the rear grills to act as reverse lights. There hidden clean and let ppl know your backing up.

And op...need some working pictures plz

OP it looks like you need resistors but I can't really tell with the vid quality. Somebody put reverse lights on either side of the lower SC lip. Then you can really say "vette mod".

http://www.oznium.com/oval-led-lamp

These are bright as *****, and down low in the lip they'd really light **** up. I'll do this mod right away if I can ever get my hands on an SC lip.

yeah problem is i dont have a real lip hahah, ill proabably be using the third brake light as a reverse, im used to light anyway, my inside tailights were always pitch black :p and i do need resisters, but im to lazy to wire them in right now, all 4 tailights are running LED bulbs
