VHT vinyl dye on ion recaros

Has anyone tried to paint the blue inserts on recaros from a redline? Couldnt find any post about it. I wanna try red VHT vinyl and fabric dye but then again i dont want to ruin them if it doesnt work. If anyone has done this do you have pics and methods?

going from blue to red probably isn't going to fly. I would just let them be.

Ive found that it kinda rubs off on fabric, but it sticks well to plastic/vinyl.

I'm not sure if I'd trust dye as It may come off onto your clothes if the seats ever get wet. I've tried dying the sun visors black and the dye just made them an ugly dark blue.
