VIS Hood Question

VIS Hood Question

if i take my car to a car wash will that affect the engine since i have the hole in the hood scoop. im not sure if the water will affect the engine or rain for that matter if i was to get cought in a storm?

i got hood scoops on my car and i neva had a problem. wat part of the bronx im down there every week. usually around fordam

I just want to make sure that the engine wont be affected because of the hole in the hood when i wash the car. im around Gun Hill area

I take my car threw thew the carwash all the time with my invader 2 hood. I haven't had any problems yet.

well i really only drive her on the weekends and on the weekdays i have her hidden away in a lot during the weekdays. some one actually broke in 2 months ago and stole my Eclipse head unit when i had her on the street. now she gets locked away

Water can definitely get into your engine with some hood scoops. You always need to check out if water management was part of the design. Most of the cheap ones don't ever consider it.
