We Need Tinted Head Lights!!!

I have owned a bunch of Mustangs over the years, but in 2000, my Mustang GT had head lights with a clear lens like our Cobalts. In 2001, Ford used the same exact headlight, but put a smoked lens on it. It was a huge improvement.

I thought about changing my head lights so that the internal chrome is black, but that is not the problem with our head lights. I can live with the chrome internals, but the exterior lens needs to be smoked instead of clear.

Does anyone make Cobalt head lights with a smoked lens? I am not talking VHT. That is just too dark. If you know new edge Mustangs, then you know what I am talking about. Even my wife's Mazda 6 has a bronze type lens and it looks good. Anything but clear.

Very lightly tinted, it's more of a hue of darkness. It's hard to even notice unless you have both headlights in front of you.

I don't think it would look bad with the stock housing.

with a professional job, the light loss will be minimized. Have whyyoumadson? do it. It won't be cheap, but he does top notch work. But op, why not just paint the chrome parts black? It's looks tinted that way, but you don't lose light output.

I agree. I want smoked molded plastic. Just about every other car has stock or aftermarket smoked plastic lens. We have such a limited aftermarket for our cars.
