Black wheels are getting so played out and that's coming from someone that has black wheels. I like the polished look of the SC wheels much better than when they are dipped or painted, but that's just my opinion.

 

i like the windshield tint. is that legal? i dont think its allowed to go down that far.

Its like saying that varrostens are played out. STFU just because people on a forum have it doesnt mean its played out, i bet where that guy lives there isnt another cobalt with black wheels for 50 miles at least. and he will probably never see another unless he goes to a big meet.

Theres two SS cobalts around here,my buddies 4dr turbo which is red with white rims,and mine. Cobalts arent that common in my area

 

That car looks so sick with the windows tinted like that, is it legal in your state for the fronts to be that dark.

I dipped my wheels black but only because the stock gunmetal was peeling off badly in many spots. Also I'm lowered and I have a blacked out theme going on against my red car so it looks OK in my opinion. If given the choice though I would go back to the gunmetal in a heartbeat.

I'm going to agree with the others and say the polished looked far better, especially against a black car.

 

Black wheels in general are played out...has nothing to do with other people on the forum having the same wheels in black. Don't get butt hurt because you have black wheels...I have black wheels too. I like em, just saying they are played out...and that's why you see it less and less now in the big scene because black wheels have seen their days. His ride looks good either way...polished SC rims are nicer...I'm sure that's the consensus.

 

Well, I like the all black theme of my car,so thats how its staying. Idc if people think theyre played out or not,its my car,my choices :-)

i agree with this. some people like the black on black look, so what. i have a black ss/tc with black msr045s with a red stripe, black retros. then the rest of the car is accented red. everyone can gripe about it but theres not another black ss/tc with black msr045s around here so they can suck it.
