As dark as you can get w/o being illegal.

It's illegal here in Cali for anything on the front, but cops don't really care unless you're speeding or get pulled over for something else. I have 4 tickets for tint though, but it got me out of speeding tickets. I am now going to go %15 in back and %35 in front, looks good!

I have 20% on rear and sides. Not that dark IMO. In bright sunlight you can still see in. At night it's a little dark, but not too dark. Never been ticketed for it either. Legal limit in Indiana is 35%

Here is MA only we only get 35% i like it, just wish it was a tad darker. But with the black car, dark interior it looks sweet, esp at night, plus its the best i can really do. Tickets for tint arent really worth it. Plus I'd have a hard time getting the car inspected and they make you change it before you can get a sticker. Some people just roll down their windows for the inspection test, but if you end up failing for it the law is you need to go back to the same place with the issue fixed and overall i figured that screw it i'll just keep it legal. Gives me more money to pay for speeding tickets or mods lol

When you hear percentages referring to tint, you're hearing the transmittance percentage. So, lower is darker. For example: 5% tint is very dark because it only allows 5% of the visible light through.

I have 20% on two different cars. Looks good on my Silver stang but I would prefer darker on my black ss/sc... I'd go 5 if I could do it again.

I have 5% all the way around and an eyebrow. It made the car look really good considering everything else is black. But to each his own, some tint will look better than no tint.

i got 20% all round and it looks great. its a little hard to make left turns at night, so any darker than that is gonna be pretty hard to see thru. also the darker u go the more cops hassle u about it. whatever u decide to do, keep the same tint on every window. it looks way better that way
