I'd say black. and when you paint your headlights (if you haven't realized it yet, you will) nightshade your reflector to keep the Red with just a touch of black scheme going

hahah, we are no help. I color matched cuz I didn't want to go for the halloween look. how about a red bowtie and black trim? Or you could paint it red and if you dont like it, cover it black. Or be real original and do half and hald.... A diagonal line through the bowtie that goes in the same direction of the lines of the bowtie already might not look too bad

I am in the process of painting my front bowtie red and also taking pics along the way for OrngBalt's "DIY: Painted Bowtie".

My opinion - color match.

DIY Thread - https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-paint-your-bowtie-61658/

I will add pix this Friday. A diagonal would look sweet, say for like PinkStripedCobalt's half pink half black following the already right 45deg. I believe.

hahaha sweet... someone likes my diagonal idea.... i thought i would get flamed for that.. LOL

I think pink should do hers black on horizontal sections and pink vertical with the center pink. Or tape down the center and pink stripe it to match the car

Heres what you can expect if you color match it. Which BTW is the way I'd say to go, too many people are doing black to death on thier cars. Be original.

Anyway heres mine.

BTW it comes apart and its easy to paint and put back together.
