I don't mean to jack the thread but I was thinking of painting my front and back bowties, but ummm... how the freak do you get em off?

the back one you would have too leave on the front un screws from the back... I say black here is a pic



I also did it in red but changed to black looks better imo

The rear one you can take off but you'll need to put new double sided tape on if you put it back on the car. The front is 2 nolts as described above.

I finished mine all up, and looks good, I will have all pics Fri. for the DIY, and make sure everyone when you tighten the "PLASTIC" nuts on the "PLASTIC" studs do not overtighten.....I got thinking about that when I put it back on this morning. Can't wait till Thursday, painting some eyelids on the front lights.

i have a white balt, n i wrapped mine in CF. looks nice. for u i'd say black. keep the chrome boarder though. makes things look nice and clean.

This is a friends opinion, he came over lastnight and saw me painting it, mines red but he suggested the chrome border be black so I dunno might look cool? Maybe when I get photoshop back I will do different colors.
