alright everybody.. i know this thread is stupid ha. anyways. so im in love with my cobalt ha. and i never really see orange cobalts on this site. occasionally but not often. so... im looking for help. as far as appearances go i want to know what else i should do. eventually i will be getting stage 3 from zzp and a tune and blah blah so im not looking for performance mod ideas. but as far as looks go. idk how to post pics on here because im retarded ha. but in my sig is a direct link to my cardomain page. so if you guys could do a quick overlook of my car and tell me what you think my car needs and what would look good id appreciate it.

By the way. i wanted to lower it pretty bad but i love on a hill. hard to explain but my car BARELY doesnt bottom out going down it now. if i lowered it id probobly lose my bumper ha. so lowering is sortof outta the question for me. anyways. thank u guys.

Looked through the 7 pages and noticed you already did a few things I recommended.

Also, The SS only sits an inch higher than mine (SS/NA) and I rarely actually bottom out. It lowered me about 3 1/2" in the rear and 2 1/2" in the front (2 finger gap all around) with the FE3 suspension parts. With FE5 suspension parts you already have by getting lowering springs from ZZP (SSC Springs) you will only drop about an inch or so. Ride quality is a little stiffer but I like the way mine feels now.

 

thanks man. good ideas. im probobly gonna do hid fogs soon for sure. as far as other things still looking for ideas. and as far as painting the wheels im trying to get tc wheels for summer and use the stock sc wheels for winter. soo.. dont wanna spend money on my eventual crap wheels.

well lowering it, i explained in my original post. and those wheels are not my style. im pretty set on getting tc wheels, thanks tho man.

 

Nah don't lower it, do this;

Evo Mod
Paint Rims (powder coat gun metal or a dark grey / black)
20% Tint

I don't know how I feel about tinting lights, besides those three^ I can't think of much else.

Maybe paint the calipers Orange? Or change the bow ties color (unless you like the original look -Which I do). Look around on this site for people with Orange Bolts, see what looks good and doesn't etc..

 

Oh scratch that.. just got the sickest idea;

First Gold tint on the fog lights, paint the rims Black And Gold (like mine but do the white gold) and maybe move the license plate to the left.

And of course do the evo mod, tint 20%, calipers orange and thats it.. leave the bowties alone. Gold and orange actually looks pretty cool.

 

What Achilles is talking about is a Bowtie Overlay and to add to it, Overlay the SS Badges, Put on on the upper Grill.

Black and Orange seems pretty played out but it looks good so, If all else fails, head to the Pictures and Video forum and do a photoshop request. The guru's over there can really show you different things.

 

all good ideas guys thank u. as far as the evo mod goes. i am STILL debating. i mean i can do it with plasti dip which is wat everyone does right? and if i dont like it i can just peel it off but im not sure if its worth the hassle of doing it. i like the way it looks but at the same time dont.. ya know? idk.. but the wheels, i like that idea alot achilles. gold around the ouside and black or grey on the spokes. i dont really like the debadged look. and i dont like the way the ss emblem in the spot of the bowtie looks if thats wat u meant. thank u for the ideas guys. your a big help.
