What do you think of these headlights

Getting a headlight fixed from insurance. Anyways these are cheaper than one GM light. Anyone have any exp with these? Know if they are DOT? I can't really decide if I like them or if they are "ricey".

I have 3rd gens and I am the 3rd owner (lights have been on my car for a few months now) and I still have all the original LEDs and Halos)

btw they take H1 bulbs for the low beam... not H11 like it says on the site.

^^I agree the leds are a little tacky, but I just use them with my turn signal so you don't see them all the time. You also have the option of just not hooking them up!

Agreed, they will probably be unhooked.

retrofit is the only way to go in terms of quality...

these knockoff cheapies suck because they are designed for halogen bulbs and not hid's.

every one of them i have seen in person leaks after a few months, too..

Those are the 3rd gens. They're my personal favorite, however, I'd never put projectors on my Cobalt.

Tacky, IMO.

I've been using mine since April with HIDs in them and so far no leaks, but the cover is spidercracking.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from. I don't mind them personally though. I think they'd be a lot classier/cleaner without the LEDs or eyebrow bar thingy. I think 3Bspec was removing/filling in those features for a little extra $$ at one point.

Meh, I'm not paying for them. Insurance it pretty much replacing my whole front in and I figured why not get these since a lot of parts are being ordered from ZZP anyways. They needed an actual website to order from.

I'm not using HID's so that's fine. I plan on putting some extra sealant around them aswell.

Sorry to all you 3rd gen owners:

But I seriously think those are the UGLIEST projectors. They give the cobalt an odd look from the front, ya know. Takes away from the look by a lot if you ask me.

1st or 2nd gen if you ask me Perfect.disguise. Or retro fits.
