Hopefully the only hid question I will ever ask

So it seems to me that this site has very little info on wiring hid fogs, or maybe I just suck at using the search button. Anyway, I just got my 8000k hid fog kit from 3bspec and I'm a little confused on wiring them up. First of all, I ordered the plug and play harness. Last time I got this, it came with an in line relay box so I did not have to order a relay harness. This time however, I do not have that. Do I need it on the fogs? Also, should the harness from the fogs just plug into my ballast? I have an empty plug on the ballast that looks like the plug on the stock H11 bulbs. Does anyone have any tips on wiring the HID fogs? I may be doing a how to on hid fogs after this since info seems so hard to come by.

Plug and play should just connect into the stock connector.

well my kit was strictly plug and play... i remove old bulb and that plugs into balast and from balast goes the new plugs that go into the HID bulb... then i put HID bulb inside fog housing...

ok, so do you guys think I should use a relay to pull power straight from the battery, or should I just hook it up to the stock wiring and not worry about it? what have you guys who actually have HID fogs do?

I used a relay. Signal (coil connection) was the stock fog light wire and ground, and the contact put power to the ballast.

The plug and play works... but it is always optimal if you use the battery fed harness.
