What shall we do next for the Cobalt?
Not sure if this has been suggested, but how about Skyline tail lights?
I know there is a "How To" on how to make them yourself, but I'm not very good with mechanical/electrical work, so I'd rather just buy a set of tail lights that already have the Skyline-like look.

I got it! Carbon fiber ENTIRE CAR! So they've already got the hood and trunk, why not doors, front and rear fenders and bumpers, and a roof. I wouldn't have the $5k necessary to purchase it, but I'm sure someone on here would.
just no bumper cutting

Just wanted to bump the thread with my idea again.
I searched for one but couldn't find one. If there's already one out there my apologies.
How about a carbon fiber exhaust sheild? I had one on my 06 STI and I know a lot of the EVO guys rock them.
Plenty of benefits:
- Not big, maybe inexpensive to make and would then be affordable.
- Looks good. (Function AND Rice)
- Can have a bit of a lip at the top to draw away the exhaust and prevent catless downpipe soot from staining the bumper.
- Prevents hot exhaust tips from melting bumpers or bubbling paint.
- Adds 5 HP.

We are looking for a OEM bumper with SS lip so we can make it a one piece, easier for folks to replace they're bumpers as well as the non SS owners to get a upgrade look. Diffuser is also an excellent idea hmm.. that would happen after SEMA though!
read though a few pages....everything has already been posted but ill back them up
-Rear Diffuser
-Time attack lip kit
-CF fenders but maybe a lil more aggresive?
Research a lil more....Tjin trunk

can I get the bottom lip? I dont like time attack bumper, but I like the splitter lip at the bottom also possibly a vortex generator like that on an EVO, the neons have had them retrofitted to their cars, I would like to see that for our cars.

Pretty sure you can already buy the splitters from ED. They come in different sizes and shapes, you just have to get one that would match up ok with our front end. Not 100% sure but I think they make them.
Clipped Widebody Front/Rear Round Fenders matching the SC/TC Lipkit. Like the Veilside 350Z Widebody.

No need for big Molds , Putty/Paint and 5K+ complete Kits. Just Bolt-On and add Spacers. The OEM Lipkit would already complete that Widebody look.

Lets just do the Koni Challenge front lip. A front splitter can still be added if wanted cause it stays level, instead of rising in the front and it should be good for any trim front fascia/bumper. Keep it simple.
