Whats the Deal with the Dual Gauge Bezel??

Seriously... everyones been waiting for like a year.

And there was a thread around here like 20 pages long about it and vendor status issues and prototypes and the like.

Looked hella promising... where did it go???

Will we ever see on mass produced?

I still want one of those!! I see the one the guy has down here, and I just can't look at my car without thinking that there is something missing.

Lol... its home is in my cup holder... kinda sucks... but sorry not looking to sell.

I'd drop $100 for a oem exact replacement guage bezel that included two ports for gauges...

Seriously.

I bought a WRX dual gauge bezel and I was going to take the pods off and incorporate them into the stock bezel but I have no idea where to begin I have them in my trunk even.

Did all the other projects fall through?? If so, I may go ahead with this project myself.

I dunno. I think it may of. There was that one thread that was like 10+ pages long and on the first page the guy had the piece installed and it looked amazing...

I think the thread got deleted... dunno why.

I seriously want one of these guys BAD!

its there, you have to search.
I bought a dual gauge bezel for a wrx the other day and I am gonna splice the two together. On a different note, I emailed autometer, they made it, and hopefully they'll pick up the idea and run with it.

I got a prompt email from Autometer... they won't make **** yet...lemme post the email
Frank,

Thank you for your email and interest in Auto Meter Products. Unfortunately at this time we do not have any plans to produce a dual instrument cluster bezel for the Cobalt. However, I have passed your email on to the New Products Team members. You may want to contact us later this fall to see if the plans have changed.

Thanks again, for the suggestion. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Ryan Davenport

That's wack Doc...It's funny how an everyday joe shmoe such as us will get blown off like that but if someone reputable were to ask the same thing, the response would prolly be different. I sent Wings West an email FOREVER ago about a body kit and/or a new style spoiler for us and NEVER got a response. Ass monkies

I guess the member PpAzZ1101 has taken it over.

He will be a supporting vendor soon and he will be selling them. When, I don't know though.

Thats because the companies need to know that they can sell 1000's before they will build it. I've made a few of these already and I tell you if we owned Honda Civic's I could have made money off of it!
But we have the lesser sought after Cobalt so no companies care about us.

You'd think that the people running this site would respond quicker and love to get another supporting vendor on board for a full year.... especially considering the money they make off of a supporting vendor.

Yet, here I am, still waiting (for 2 weeks now) for a response and payment instructions as they "review" our site.

As for the pods, we are going to sell the dual pod bezels. They won't be out for another month or so though. If I could get them out faster, I would... but the delay is due to the manufacturer, not us. We just distribute them.

Believe me guys, as soon as I have more information, we'll post it up.

I got mkulrey13 to make me a dual gauge bezel. It turned out real good.
Here are two pics I got before I installed it.

I got it in place and have everything wired up, I need to get the wires to the fuse box now.
The first pic is a rough..I changed my mind and put the stock boost gauge back in its spot and changed out the XD-1 and Aeroforce into the bezel.

Overall, I think it kicks ass.

I would rather wait to have them mass produced. He's asking a bit much for these IMO..I know there is alot of labor involved, but...I can wait
