As of yet, and to the best of my knowledge, thay are only GM prototype'd, BUT if and when the GMtunersource.com site ever goes up, might be on there from them. I personally don't care for the clear tails.....but maybe APC or someone will copy them. Whoknows

Could have sworn I saw a pic somewhere on these forums w/the clear tails...I loved 'em too so I remembered...or maybe they were in with the pics from one of the shows...I don't have the specifics, so I know this does you absolutely no good...I just wanted to give you a lil encouragement, cuz I'm sure someone out there knows.

i like the kit, but not the hood, i like more of a ram air cowl type hood, where it's got the ram air opening and it's lifted up, kinda like the trans am, but it would look better on our car with just one wide opening, be nice to have the Porsche style exhaust also

The headlights are easy to do yourself . The taillights like that I have ONLY seen on GM project or concept cars . For someone like GM it would as easy as telling their supplier for the normal taillight lenses , " hey I need a few samples of the tailight lens out of clear lexan , and a sample out of smoked lexan " . For them to sell to those to the public is a completely different story though . Getting the smoked clear lens would be about impossible for GM to have DOT certified and GM woudlnt sell anything that was not DOT compliant .

The Cobalt is looking to be a VERY popular car , so it shouldnt be long before youll beable to choose from a million different headlight and taillight combos like the civics . Cars only been out a year , I would probably guestimate at least another before u really start seeing ALOT of stuff like that .

If i could find either the clear or smoked tailights ANYWHERE, i would buy regardless of price.

There is a big thread on the headlight mod... I keep thinking about getting a set of lights from e-bay and giving it a shot... just to get the yellow crap out. I might consider paying someone to do it for me... dunno.

I'm going to a plastic place here in my city. Tap Plastics http://www.tapplastics.com Gonna have them make a mold and make me some "clear" taillights. Hopefully everything comes out okay. I will be sure to post pictures when and if they can get it done right.
