you'll find that many of the pieces don't fit properly. especially the long dash trim above the glove box. it's too short, and not wide enough so you can still see a big part of the silver dash. many peices don't cover the parts they're supposed to cover. all the silver dash pieces look like crap. some of the pieces look really good, like the one around the speedometer. the silver trim by the window buttons also looks pretty crappy. the piece around the shifter looks good though.

all in all, with this kit you get what you pay for. it's cheap, and when you put it on, it LOOKS cheap.

 

Im sure its not going to be that bad, we'll see though. I can always return it if it's not what I expected. I saw pictures of it installed on other cars and it looks fine to me.

 

with all do respect have you ever seen that trim? my girl's sister has it in her g5 it looks like ass. it is okay unless you bought it to look like carbon fiber. its a bunch of black and silver triangles

 

what reason do i have to lie? i had it in my car some cars it looks good. a co-worker has the kit in his cadilac, the wood grain, and it looks really good. my brother had it in his scion tc, and it also looked very good. the kit in the cobalt is really, really bad though. and you probably can't return it, look at their return policy. you can only return if there was a defect in the pieces, and once they're installed you're stuck with them. of course with the pics they have on their site, they're going to put the kits that look good, and they will only put the pieces that look good.

i'm not telling anyone to buy or not to buy this kit, just that i was unhappy with most of it, and the fitment was absolutely terrible.

when i called them to complain about the fitment, they pretty much told me "what do you expect for $200. you should have expected that"

look at these pics i took on MY car:

in the top one, look all the way to the right, you can see how the overlay doesn't come to the end around the radio piece. it's like that the entire way around, not just on that spot. in the bottom pic, look at the long dash piece above the glove box. see that white-ish line that runs underneath the overlay? yea, that's the trim. that piece is too short on both sides, and also too short going up and down. back to the top pic, look at the small trim piece around the DIC controllls. notice on the top you can again see the trim sticking out. the bottom is even worse. it looked a LOT worse untill i painted everything and color matched it. untill i did that, it stuck out like a sore thumb.
