Would the same shop that tints windows, tint lights to? What do you guys think?

And if so, what do you guys find best for tinting lights (certain types of tint or how dark etc..)

Body shops that have a paint booth. Im pretty sure they just use black paint and clear. It's also quite affordable too. not VHT affordable but under 100 bucks for sure.

Not sure what a tint shop would use but i wouldnt be surprised if some tried to use the film on them

thanks for mentioning me....i do them....not the cheapest in the world buy you get what you pay for.

nightshades = junk i dont care what anyne says on here. its crap and blocks a lot more light then what i use.

Do you paint the outside of the case? or the inside or how does it work??

i responded to your comment in the other thread. i paint the outside portion of the lense using a special blend of black and clear...the blacks my own special blend aswell that i will not give away.

i prep the lights, spray them, wetsand them and buff then and send them back to you.

film causes the same issues as vht. low light ommitence. sucks and you have a lot more of a chance of getting pulled over.

my best recommendation is check your state laws to see how far you need to be able to see the lights from.... the darkest set ive ever done is still visable from 500ft(illinois state law) and probablly more. they are virtually completely black. i mean yes, mine do allow less light through but no where near as bad as vht or a film.

If you lived next door, you would have all my lights already. But you are located in the US I assume? So shipping would be a pain in the bum.

I guess there is always the option of buying them already tinted. Thats what I did, just bought them off of ebay, they look good in my opinion. Dont know if you would get screwed with shipping to Canada though.
