As far as I know, there aren't going to be any white SS/SC in 05 or 06. I'm sure you'd be able to get it painted though once you got it. Either way, do whatever fits you, whatever you like, don't let some tool tell you what you should drive.

I'm assuming that you don't want your engine bay painted? 'cause if so, then you have to pull you engine out.
Door jams and everything else, right?
It's a lot of work and will not be cheap, the price will depend on the shop that does it and how picky you are about the quality of the job (and type of paint you want).
In my opinion it is not worth it.

I'd say on AVERAGE, a decent job would be around 3,000. But it all depends on where you go to. My brother had his Camaro completely stripped to bare metal and painted...ran him 5,500. And of course it looks amazing, but you'll get what you pay for I guess.

I would say price depends on how much prep work you do.
If you deliver the car all apart and just have the parts you need painted delivered then I bet it would be a lot cheaper than dropping off the car at a body shop and having them do all the prep and disassembly work.
Probably cost prohibitive for someone like me. You really gotta love White to have your car repainted.
