I have always been really curious, granted I dont post much on any other car forums. But for the sake of conversation, where I live the only riced out cars ive seen are cobalt's.

On this site it seems like a majority of the cars are just disgusting. Whats with that?

Why not, I can count 0 ricers in our local car club, but can also see about 15 ricers in cobalts locally all the time.

 

I'm thinking ricing out a car would be more of an American thing to do.

I find your comment about bout hot girls in their 20's funny. Because generally when they see a nice looking car they think"hey this guy must be well off to have a car with this much done to it" that is till they get to your trailer or hole in the wall apartment ;-)

All this bitching on the forums about ricers.... its pretty obvious gm was lookig to capitalize on the whole"tuner" market when they developed these cars so why wouldn't it attract people that want to "rice" them out?

 

Lol well that's funny because most girls couldn't tell you one make from another when it comes to cars and if its nice and shiny and low and makes a sound they think its nice! Only gold diggers turn up their noses if its not a Lexus or a Mercedes or bmw.

theres some that do like them, we had an intern here for the Summer who loved the way mine looked, according to her. but i deff didn't buy one to impress the ladies.

i also get compliments for the older gen. of car guys. "thats a Chevy" and " that looks sharp for a small car". either way i have no complaints. never left me stranded anywhere.

 

Couple years ago I was on Hot Rod Power Tour and Vic Edelbrock made something out in the open, that has always been there, but made a lot of people think (including me)...

I understand there is alot of idiots out there that dont know jack about what they are doing or what they have, but at least they are into the hobby... use their lack of knowledge to teach them and help them learn. One of the reasons I love forums, you learn so much!
