Not huge on the wire tuck thing. But a friend had a eg with a boosted d was pushing 14lbs it was a fun little car. He also had a k swapped ek that was running 13.5 with a shitty base map tune.

the only way im gonna call someones mod rice is if it has been done halfass backwards. if it looks like **** and poorly done, rice. huge gt wing, rice. coffee can exhasut hanging far out from the bumper, rice. almost everything we as a community do to our cars(delta platforms) i would not consider rice since we take the time and use our knowledge to do the mods the right way the first time. what becomes rice is peoples opinions, and to each their own, but when you want to come down to it, the cobalt community is hardly full of ricers. there's the couple exceptions yes, but i'd say there's more legit "car enthusiasts" in our community than ricers.

In my Opinion most of you all are messed up, Who cares what is what. Ricer or not it's they're car, let them do what they want with it, some people like to go fast so they do performance mods, on the other hand some people would rather get good mileage but have a nice looking car, so what they got a body kit or what not. The whole term ricer has evolved way to much, it used to just mean a foregn car, now its right next to gay, ******, retarded and all those other words. This tread is pointless...

Im a normally adjusted person, I work with kids and elderly for a job.. I reserve the right to make fun of ricers as a past time lmao.

I don't use derogatory words and all that for the purpose of trying to hurt peoples feelings, I just enjoy making fun of ugly cars.. :S Anyone ever read car review sites? I do.. endlessly. The people who write the articles often bash cars and how they look, stock.

I own an ep hatch that I've posted on here and people called it rice cause it had a bodykit , carbon fiber hood and was lowered, but it wasn't even outlandish or overdone. The bodykit itself wasn't even far off of the original bumpers. Had no flashy lights or a spoiler or Lamborghini doors or any of that. People on here just like to hate.

With lower resale values comes lower IQ owners. Basically these cars are cheap enough that high school kids and those just starting college are getting them, and most of them have absolutely no taste when it comes to modding cars. IE, people like Cobe. Its not just Cobalts, its all performance compacts. I will agree with the OP there is a lot of crap out there, compared to well modified Cobalts. With the phaggoty stance look become more popular in the sport compact scene, I have been really losing interest in compacts in general and find that more of them look like total ****

See 07metallic^ those cars all look so meticulously made, everything's fit properly, the paint is gleaming and I'm sure there's gonna be some idiots that call that rice, but I think they're beautiful. I love a well done show car. Look at the attention to detail on the engin in that lexus!

Well I must be HELLA Rice in this guys eyes. Meh doesnt bother me. least I dont look like the other 3000+ cobalts out there. I like to be unique. I like to be able to say there is not one balt out there that looks like mine.

Rice is a matter of opinion IMO. what one calls rice another may not. and vise versa.

I do and build everything on my car. I enjoy doing it. being called rice will not stop that. I have learned a lot just owning this cobalt.

I agree too many transformer badges is overkill. I have one on my steering wheel. cause my kids that are young think its the cats meow. If they smile and think its awesome then thats good for me.

i remember when a kid would weld a soup can on his exhaust for tip. stick on vents, steel wheels and aluminum wings was just rice.... not any car make or specific cars..... i feel the rice word is too vague and over used.... i been called rice once or twice in a year, but i get at least 10 people a day saying how much they love my car.... like really if the high rise is considered rice or 4 inch exhaust tips, chrome wheels, and loud stereo's i believe that would include almost 95% of the site would be ricers....

maybe the ones who use the word ricer are the ones with the issue.... maybe the ones who use the word ricer are insecure of thier manhood and have a tiny d**k.... just my 2 cents

as for the every growing popular stretch and poke crap. I dont think its rice. I think its UNSAFE and retarded to do something that makes your car unsafe. and in that area there is always someone out that that says oh I can stretch it further.
