Why doesnt anyone have Gen 2 Headlights?

I noticed that most Cobalt/G5 owners are rocking the Gen 1,3,4, Black Stockers and Retros but barely anyone has the Gen 2. Why is that?

I think they look good. I would probably disconnect the 3 leds though

most people think they look like crap and perform like crap, I can honestly say ive never seen them before and they definitely look better than gen 3's. Id be curious to see output with 4300k's.

People don't buy the headlights because they are junk. Most fail within the first year, save your money and build/buy retros. The Gen headlights use **** lenses that start to create burn spots very early in their life.

thats the real issue. retros cost $6-800 easy and you can get genX for $100ish. so if you have your car for say six years and the gens only last x amount of time, theres no way retros are worth it money wise haha. unless you build your own for 3-400 of course

I think alot of people dont buy these because they are the most expensive out of all the Gens. Every website that I found that sell these, have them marked higher than the others. Cheap A$$ Cobalt owners

if you use the hi beams for a good amount of time, the gen x lenses will create nipple like burning on lense.
