Will a 2009 G5 grill directly bolt in place of a 2009 Cobalt SS Sedan grill? Not changing out the bumper or anything, just taking out the grill and bowtie crossbar and putting in the pontiac twin grill look.

if you have the pontiac grill and painted cover that goes around it then yes, and cut your crossbar.

so I have to cut out the chevy cross bar? I thought it might be separate and could be unbolted, but it is part of the panel surrounding the chevy grill insert?

yes you have to cut the top grill and also some other notches out of the base cobalt cover. it is extremely easy to do. i have done it about 5 times now and its simple, but i do have the g5 grill template i made out of a wreck g5 cover. lol
