Big places don't mean ****, i am a one man show and guarentee my quality is better than 95% of ANY other tinter... I won't put a shitty tint job on my car, and i sure as hell won't put one on yours... You need to ask around and get a reference from someone local to you, and get the bigger is better thing out of your head...

Ive been to a small place with my old car a few years ago (couldnt remember the price)
And they were horrible. Drove it back to them, they redid it, and still was bad. Just a bad first impression thats all.

haha.

It was in a bad area.

This may sound like a stupid question, but, does it effect the rear window defroster?

I don't mean to be so critical, but most larger places unless well established will have undertrained tinter who don't give a rats ass about your car.... A small place will USUALLY count on quality work to carry it since they don't waste tons of money on advertising, they let their work speak for itself... I'm telling ya, get references, if you see someone that has a nice tint job, ask them where they got it done and if they were satisfied,i'm sure they will tell you, either way!!!

NO, tint lays right over the defroster and it will work like normal...

Now i've heard that if you take off the tint in the back improperly you could damage the defroster lines in the back. But as far as putting tint on and using it your good.

True statement, all the more reason to go legal and make sure your tinter uses quality film, then it won't need to come off for a long time.... If it does ever need to come off, is just has to be done with care...
