has anyone elses dot matrix in the back window mess their tint up and how did you fix it if it did? i dont want to redo the tint

 

tint place i went to used a tint paint in that area to cover the matrix
i know some places use vinyl.

 

i tint window for a livin and i use what they call dot tricks and it's just black vinyl.

 

well when i got my tint dont, they put tint below the dot matrix and spray painted the dots....that was well over a year ago and no problem with anything. No cracking or peeling. Just tape up and put newspaper around and spray paint the window back. and from the outside, it looks stock. I'll post a pic tomorrow when its daylight

 

Whats the average cost for tint these days for the coupe?

the place i went to did the main area then i forgot to come back so my bf just pained it. Works great. I dont know how much it costs, i think the place i went to wasnt too expensive...the dealership paid for it. lol.

 

The place I went to charged me $110. They used some kind of glue for the dot matrix

 

so i could just get some black spray paint and mask my car up and just go to town in there or do i need that tint paint that was mentioned above

 

I got mine tinted for $200 And then a month later got pulled over and had to remove the 2 side windows :

 

vinyl is what they use here...i'm actually getting mine down on Wednesday (186 bucks all away around and that's the cheapest in town....geesh and for only 35%)

 

costed me $170

 

210 for the whole car... 35 front, 10 rear and 5 % sunstrip

 

at least i'm in the average range then lmao...but then again...if i had the time and some more tools...i could have done it myself for about 40 dollars...like i did my cavy when i had it

 

wow...i got my tints done for $110. 28% front, 15% back. some places are charging crazy on you guys!
