ive finnally made up my mind to spend the money on window tinting, however the shop i plan on doing it at offers 3m life time warranty against bubbling and peeling for 190 installed, however for $70 more i can get lifetime warrany on fadeing, is this necessary also im doing 50% on the passanger and driver side windows but i cant make up my mind on what to do on the back 3, thanks for any comments/advice

 

nah i wouldnt worry about the fading it will crack or peel before it fades

 

Mine is 15% all around. I have never been pulled over for it either.

 

on the back 3 i have 2% tint

 

Yea but once you get that dark you cant see **** at night lol

 

I got 5% on my back 3 and 50% on the front 2.

I had all 5 rear windows done limo for $220 cdn. So around $170-180 us. I'd say anything around that is a good deal.

 

that is a good deal. im happy to get mine done for 260$ in 2 days.

 

DO NOT clean it with windex or other glass cleaner. the chemical with fade if not ruin your tint after time. use warm soapy water. And of you take it to a Car cleaner tell them not to do the inside of your windows (meaning the tint).

I don't think the Life time warrently is nessisary. But if you've got the extra $ do it. You can never be too safe

 

I had 5% tint on my firebird's back glass and being followed by a semi with his high beams on didn,t bother me :P

 

I have a 4 door and payed 120 with a life time warranty, and i have 15 percent. 170 to 180 wow that's really high Lol. i can't imagine paying 220.

 

...and it's not like you're missing anything if you've got the high-rise
