is there a how to on how to get the high rise wing off?

if not, someone make one por favor.

 

i can tell you how.

open the trunk. pull off thecarpet gently. unbolt. caefully peel the wing off, there's sticky **** underneath. you will have holes in your trunk, get them filled, and repaint.

 

what would be a good filler for the holes until they get filled and painted? i wouldn't be able to get them repainted for a month or so....but i need to get rid of the wing asap.

 

quick and dirty way is to use vinyl, just cut out quarter size patches and put em over it. Get the closet color to your car

 

dude im just like u, i hate this ******* wing. i was htinking just to take it off and plug em up some how until i found a trade but its like impossible to take that thing off. good luck. im just stikcing it out unitl i find a trade =/

It would be easier to just switch out your trunk lids with the wings attached for someone with no wing or a low profile wing. There was a wing swap thread started I believe. Good luck.

That's a problem for us sedans though. I want the spoiler like an LS coupe has. That style wing. I don't have the same wing. I have the very low profile one. I hate it. It's too low.

i just took mine off. i prefer the holes to that damn high rise. i hate how its in the middle of the rear window. i wouldnt even be able to tell if a cop was pulling me over unless he was up my ass
