Wiring retros
So i got my buyhids.com retros and thought it would be easy to wire. Wrong.
First off, I emailed them and they said its all plug and play, yet there is nowhere to plug my halos into. Secondly, only one of the headlights turns on, and I thought it was because there is only one blue headlight connector. I asked them and they said that it only needs one so the other (passenger side) stays unplugged. What the flipping hell am I doing wrong?

That's the thing, there isn't :S. And I understand the positive and negative, but they already have a clip on the end of them that is supposed to go into some female end, yet there isn't one.

well the guy didnt get his invertors is why he was lost about the halos and i told him how to hook up the harness so hopefully he gets it figured out. ppl say plug and play but to retro noobs they dk that it requires alil wire install.

Halos ARE NOT PLUG AND PLAY they require a positive/negative not provided by the harness
there should be 2 black/red wires they came with with a small black connector on one end and nothing on the other
Black goes to neg
Red goes to pos ether the running lights or a switched power source (depends on how the user want them)
Image 1 - White to halo inverter, red/black to ballast, red/back you can barely see goes to the harness (plug ur holding in pic 4) blue plug doesn't get plugged in (on the passenger side)
Image 2 - red to Pos black to neg, white in background goes to halo inverter
Image 3 - that goes to the white side of the halo inverter
Image 4 - that goes the the black/red coming out of the passenger headlight (like you have the one in the background)
plug behind that goes to ballast, black wire goes to neg
Hope this helps and doesn't confuse you LOL

tons of guys including me can help ya out.
once you have the ccfl inverters you'll be golden.
the power tap and 2 negative tap are probably the hardest things to do

i had the sameee problem (only one headlight working). i had to send mine back the first time the connector was broke. and 2nd time aparently nothign was wrong with the passanger light. i couldnt get the low/high hooked up. i should be gettign it in the mail this week so i will have to try to hook them up again. all i got was halos and parking lights on both headlights and low/high on only one. all my grounds and everythign was hooked up fine.

yupp got my light today ill have to hook it up mabyy tonight to see if i can get it working. buyhids said there was nothing wrong with it. and i wired everythign the same time the 1st time i did this when the pass side worked and the driver didnt. but when i sent them back the 1st time the driver side wire that comes from the projector was messed up. got that fixed and the 2nd time i installed i got no pass light. so 3rd time it better work.
but if it doesnt ill know who to ask as this thread has a bunch of helpful people
