Then I guess I'll just go ahead and not do anything different so that my Cobalt looks the same as every other one on the road because no one on here likes to push the envelope and be different..
Weak..
Weak..
I say go for it, but heres the cheap route, Lots of vinyl shops carry wood grain vinyl that looks legit, buy it and wrap it, You dont like it, owell it cost $30 to try something new.

A wrap is another option.. Good call!
But yes, I understand where they're coming from. If I heard someone wanting to do this a few years back I would've said the same thing. But now, I want to be creative and different.. You can't make an impact on the scene if you sit back and do nothing. I mean, I could be like everyone else with a black Cobalt and go black wheels, tinted tails, etc. But no, I'm doing my own thing. It's my car, so **** off.. lol
By the way, this wouldn't be the first time I had a Cobalt First.. lol I was also the first to do the Cadillac/Buick mod.. If you haven't seen it, oh well.. lol

The vinyl wrap is a good idea, it lets you see it done, but you're not out alot of money if you dont like it. And it you do like it, then you can buy the legit dash later if you're like me, and don't like the idea of being fake
It's just a different style. I have a Mexican Blanket for a seat cover in my car, because it keeps me in touch with the old school that I truly love while I'm driving my commuter car. Manufactures have been doing fake woodgrain for over 70 years, at least! It's something that some people will understand, and some people won't. Not a big deal really. I do like the wrap idea though.
Do it OP. Itll look good as ****. You have to remember this is the cobalt community where every swinging dick thinks there ***** ballin stock looking and wingless and rolls eyes and makes fail comments at everyone else. Itll never change dude, but itll look sick if you get the willpower to do it. If you wrapped it in dry carbon fiber stickers theyll think your ***** the coolest interior in the world.
^^ lol, my biggest pet peeve is the carbon stickers though. I'm all for using the stickers to see what it would look like, but there's no way I would leave it, but that's me. I say do the stickers. Atleast to see it. Then you can be sure, and not wonder anymore.
some guy in vegas has it on a g5 and it looks horrible hes even got chrome wheels and portholes on his fenders too just like an olds haha if your gonna do it you gotta go all out or live in texas
