WTF is wrong with GM?

Simple question, maybe someone out there can answer this for me...

Why did GM have to use a 5x110 bolt pattern for their wheels on the CSS? If I buy an SS I have 6 different aftermarket wheels to choose from. There are no Enkei, Konig, Motegi, RH, or any other decent wheels available in a 5x110. I was supposed to be ordering my 06 SS this week, but I'm big on wheels and if their isn't much out there to choose from, I gotta go with something else. Let's face it, the SS/SC's wheels are too big. 17s would be ideal for both street/strip and I'm not even going to go into the painting of the wheels.

Can anyone tell me WTF WERE THEY THINKING???

Yeah I guess you're right in a way, it's only wheels but wheels play an important part in performance as well as appearance. And when you are limited on choices, you're limited on how well your vehicle looks and performs. How did they get those 17" Enkeis to fit on the Grand Am Cup cars ??

A sticky about 5-110 wheels would be great, or one in the Newbie section when there is one.

I guess the Grand Am Cup cars use the hub from a Grand Am to get the different bolt pattern...
