I spoke with Joe from Xcelerated concepts and he told me he could do something sort of like a group buy that if there are 5 or more confirmed buyers with a deposit that he can sell us the trunks for a low price of $550 CAD Shipped (excluding Hawaii/Alaska) so thats about $534.34 USD . Just seeing if there are any other people out there interested in doing this?

Possibly he could still let us do it with the Hood also cuz i think they are around the same price maybe $50 more so it may be a little more. I can ask

Yea we have to have one here in VA also but i think im gonna try and do something to get it mounted on the bottom of the rear windshield.

and Project is your trunk from Xcelerated concepts or another brand? i know its not going to fit like OEM but there are somethings you can do to make it work. one guy i spoke to on here said he got one from them and it fit really well just some small modifications with the trunk bracket to make it flush. Most problems i hear are from VIS

 

i do not know what mine is. but it fits like ass and i have modified the bracketing a bit

 

Oh ok yea i know that buying one it wont be perfect but the one i hear having the worst problems is VIS. Thanks for the replies though.

 

well no wonder your is shitty you dont even know what brand it is?lol yea ive heard the vis one aint that great but vis and extreme dimensions are both close to me so i probably wouldnt pay for shipping on any cf parts

All ViS ive seen fit perfectly. you DO have to align it cant just bolt it on. Mine fits better then my stock one did . The XC trunks ive seen all fit like poop. Even after adjusting it more then i had to for the ViS. I do like the XC one more tho. Nice and clean!

Also, i need a HOOD.

 

^^^ Really iv just been reading around and read alot of complaints about the VIS the most, could also be cus thats the one ppl have the most, but i can ask to see if we could get something with the hood for a deal, prolly would be just a little more then the trunk.
