XTR Reverse Cowl Hood
What do some of you folks think of the XTR Reverse Cowl Hood in fiberglass (I know I would have to get it painted)??

I have an 2009 LT 4-door, imperial metallic blue.
Some pictures are here:

Just add the GM bra to the front.

Your kidding right. What kinda power you running for a heat extracting hood. Don't forget shipping atop the $450 price. For that get sumthing suttle like a oem cf hood.
You don't want to buy rims cuz they're over $1000 but would spend over $500 for a hood tht will
make ur lt look rediculous. Springs would make ur ride look way better than that hood. And is cheaper. Oh and don't no one else gimme the "he can do what he wants it's his car" routine. Just trying to help op and you guys know I'm right.

I wouldn't get that hood. Just a headsup because if you do get it, coupled with the spoiler and wheels with no drop you cause you to get flamed. Just a heads up, I'm not here to tell you what to and not to do to your car, just offering some friendly advice.

See, why can't other noobs take harsh criticism like lex. Very cool bro
Just cuz it's the daily driver doesn't mean you cant drop it. My car is a dd and I have a minimal drop. Less than eibach.

Step 1. Buy Eibach Sportlines and install them
Step 2. Buy the SS body kit and install
Step 3. Buy your hood and install
Trust me man, you will NOT like how it looks on your base model, all these hoods you find are shown on the SS's for a reason, they just don't look good to 95% of people on a base model.

I'd say buy wheels and then body kit
Any model cobalt Looks alot better with a wheel change.

Good stuff. My Cobalt is my DD, and I just dropped it on Eibach Sportlines. I've had my wheels sitting in the garage since last year, but I never put them on because it would look pretty bad without a drop. So I waited until I bought my springs and had time to lower the car, then I put my wheels on. All in all, it does look 100x better with a drop and some decent wheels. I'm now piecing together a body kit, so far I have a SS/SC front and lip. I just need a rear or lip (hint for Cesar to sell me his) and some sides.
