Yet a another halo question

All right guys I searched and read through several threads but I’m still a bit confused.

Alright here is my question are the halo’s really plug and play or do I still have to do some wiring and is there anything else I should know? The one that I'm considering comes with CCFL halo's and says plug and play but is it really? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

they are all plug and play as far as the lights go...

but the halos and leds have to be wired up...or at least on the 3rd gens they do

i think 1st and 3rd gen are DIY and 2nd gen is plug and play

1st and 3rd gen - LED halos= NOT PLUG N PLAY

2nd gen = CCFL Halos= Plug and Play

Just to clarify... something is not plug and play unless.. u can plug it in.. and have it be functional... so to say.. "yeah.. 1st and 3rd gen are plug and play....except you have to wire the Halos" is just contradicting as a statement. Glad to help
