So after having the Gen 2 projectors for oh...five days, i noticed the bar was out on the passenger side. AWESOME

So then I start messing with the wires to see if something was loose. The halo rings flicker, then both go out, along with a little thing of smoke. EVEN BETTER.

Now both drive and passenger halo rings wont light up. Therefore tonight when im on my way to the gym, I start my car and my WHOLE DASH wont even light u[. I had no clue how fast I was going or anything. shitty.

I cant wait to return these piece of **** headlights. Ive already contacted the ebay seller. They want a picture of what it looks it.


If I put the old headlights back in, should that fix the dash light issue? And does anybody know where to get GOOD QUALITY projectors?

I hear more Bad things about gen2 then any other gen. Everyday there a new complaint about gen2.

Most common problems I read where
#1 Problem is the light bar randomly dieing.
#2 Problem Halos randomly dieing.

I had gen1 for 10 months now and only problem I have is the clear coating is pelling. Beside that no problems. Barley heard any problems with gen3.

The dash and maybe the halo lights are just a fuse. it's in the fuse box under the hood...

I replaced my stock headlights now since im returning the projectors

My dash still wont light up though. In the fuse box I pulled the one for the parking lights, but no success.

Ugh now what?

did you replace it? sometimes fuses wont look like they are bad but they are still burned out

yep, its a 15amp mini ATM fuse.

Yeah I did last week too. They have been nothing but problems.

Im trying to research which of the three generations are the best quality. I really dont know though.

I've had the 3rd gens with HIDs for almost a year now. No burnt out lights, no peeling or stress marks, nothing melting. 0 problems.

Yep. Replace the 15 amp fuse underneath the hood. That is why your dash lights aren't working. Same thing happened to me.

Awesome I just did. Problem solved!

Went to walmart bought a pack of fuses, replaced it, then it worked!

Im going to look into the Gen 3 lights. They seem to not have as many problems. I definitely need to look into the more though. I really want projectors, haha they look awesome. And i would also like HIDS as well.

im with silv3r on this one.. i've had my 3rd gens as long as he's had his with no problems as of yet. i've got 6000k hids in mine also.

Okay dude sounds good to me. As long as you just werent lucky with those like you have to be for the gen 2.

The only thing im kind of worried about is wiring the stuff together. Im not that great with cars hahaha. oh well. And im looking to get 8000k or 10k from 3b.
