Sounds about right.. I weighed mine at the Tour...
2885 lbs with sunroof/small wing and 1/2 tank of gas.

Damn sunroof must be like 40 lbs!!!!

Yeah I'm running the stock front bar also.

But we can't rule out the Audi TT. The guy only had it for 8 days and ended up 2nd. They can run 295's with ease on all 4 corners...

THATS REDIC!!! Good for him tho.

I will be running 245 V710 also just cause i want to be able to run a season on $1000 worth of tires lol. I am working with Kelly Moss Motorports on a custom front sway bar for the car right now so we will see how that goes next season.

No, it's on 245/35-18's. Yes, you can run bigger. Like I said earlier I have ran the 255's and the 245's. I like how the 245's feel because they are a shorter tire. I'll take a picture of just the tire and wheel tomorrow.

Nice work guy's!

Saw your car there. We poorly drove the Ion Redline in SMF. First trip to Nationals and both me and my co-driver are hooked!

We decided to try out his new '10 Cobalt turbo on the V710's at a DRSCCA event last weekend. We both agree that the Cobalt it is a much more competitive car than the Ion. We plan on running the Cobalt next season in DS. I can't wait! The Turbo power is so much easier to drive than the SC power on the Ion.

Nice runs. Looks like it's time for me to get some sticky tires so I can hang a wheel. I assume yours has the lsd transmission?

I went to the Peru National Tour over 4th of July weekend. I was co driving a GP car and was very disappointed that there were no Cobalts there! Your videos from Nationals were awesome! I had contemplated going to Nationals in my Cobalt this year but was unable to get everything together in time. Hopefully next year though.

crap they made those? I had slim picks when looking at getting a 2010 at the last second. Oh well i got my LSD, never use the sunroof tho. Might sell it at the end of next season anyway, we will see how next season goes.

I just signed up for the tristate national tour in blytheville. I found a smoking deal on some barley used hoosiers in a 245/35-18. So we will see if I like these any better then the 255 hoosers and the 245 kumhos...

Cant wait to hear what you think of the hoosers in that size. I might run v710 at my local events and switch to hoosers for nationals since i was going to buy two sets anyway.
