Hey guys, just putting the word out that thereis an autocross in Bristol Connecticut this weekend on Sunday, Oct. 15. I went a couple of weeks age and did fairly well. I was the first Cobalt that they had seen there and i did fairly well. It would be nice to see a few more out there! The web site is www.cartct.com or PM me for details.

If you're up for a little bit of a drive into NY, the Poughkeepsie Sports Car Club, a chapter of the New York Region of the SCCA, is having an autocross at Orange County Airport in Montgomery New York on October 29th.

Getting there is an easy straight shot across I-84 to exit 5 in New York. The pavement is nice and smooth, though the courses can only accomodate one car at a time. Registration is usually limited to about 70 people.

More info can be found at http://www.psccny.com

I would love to go and check that one out. Unfortunately i'm in the military and i'll be gone that weekend. But i'm sure they'll be there in the spring, i'll take a ride down there then and check it out.

I might have to go soon. I just got some new rubber.

I won't have my car until this weekend so I can't make this one. I will make one soon though.

Im sure ill be there if some of my friends are racing we usually go every weekend...not racing though, still breakin in the car. Last weekend I went to bristol the lot was very small and a newish corvette slammed into a tree. And a focus leaked coolant all over the track so they stopped everything.

I was going to go to that one too but the military dictated otherwise... I've never seen anyone hit anything before. But by the pics it did look way too small. The lot this weekend is pretty big from what i understand. I'm going to go and beat the pee out of my car as usual. I usually do pretty good.
