i attended one based on the phase 1 school and run by the same people just under an scca sanction two years ago, very educational. they try to keep student numbers low so they can have more 1 on 1 time with everyone. expect to be split into drivetrain types with instructors specializing in each type. instructor rides and evaluates then watches and evaluates and will drive your car if you ask. fun day

I'm scheduled for my phase 1 class on the 28th of May. Everyone I autocross with has said time and time again that it's the best investment any newbie can make. That I'll learn so much that I won't even know it until mid season.

Let me know how yours goes and I'll do the same.
Can't wait!

Weeeeee!!

OMG!
Phase 1 this weekend, 80 degree weather, nice breeze, beautiful weather!
On with the class....
We started bright and early at 8am, and were broken up into 7 groups...with 3 drivers each, but 2 did not show, and one guys car died, so it was excellent teacher to student ratio! I wont spoil the fun of what they did but I will HIGHLY recommend this to everyone, anyone who has just started or who has had a couple of years. Theres always somethin new to learn and every class is taught differently

Seat time was amazing, and I was told by two instructors that I was running National class times, and would prolly do well in Open class at some national events! There were 4 other girls in our group, and it was an honor to hear it even tho ive only been auto-xin for a year All the instructors LOVED the cobalt! Yes, they will drive your car! But they ask first!
I highly recommend these schools to anyone and everyone!! We had one guy who has done 10 phase 1 and 2's across the country, he's retired and just has fun in his mini! But u gotta experience it for yourselves!!

Yes... I agree... no matter what kind of experience you have, you should take one. I am doing phase 1 this year, and might do 1 AND 2 next year.

I've been told that this is something that ANYONE that is into doing this as more than just a fun thing here and thre should do.

Congrats on the compliments and the great experience!

If you go to nats this year, keep a look out for me in DStock. I am 99% sure I'll be there this year.
