I placed first in the Detroit region SCCA spring fling autocross event. I was in TGS (street tire G stock) and beat out some pretty heavy hitters. I even beat a new VW GTI! I actually race one class above what I should actaully be in (should be in THS), but I don't mind because it is more competitive this way.

How did you beat a GTI with a Ls cobalt? Arent they turbo and 200HP stock?

Autocrossing is far more dependent on driver skill than horsepower. Suspension preparation also plays into acquiring good times, but ultimately it does boil down to the driver first and foremost.
