How did you do?

Did you notice any areas where you felt you could improve?

Its addicting isn't it. I was breaking to late and pushing through the corners. Gonna fix that on my next trip. I was running on par with Vettes and STIs.... not bad for a FWD car...

I was pleased with my results being it was the first time I had ever autocrossed. I beat all my friends except for one, which made me happy. My friends have some pics and some video I will try to get them so I can post them. It was very addicting I wanted to go again right away. There was another guy at the meet with a Cobalt SS and he won the street tire division. I rode with him and learned that the car can do a lot more than I was allowing it to do. I think that I could have gotten better times if I had taken better lines on some of the corners, which I plan to work on the next time. My best time was about 51seconds and the top car in my class ran around a 44. I hope to do better next time.

ride alongs are very useful, I have not done to many autocross, however in my limited experience, being smooth and tight is what nets the best times.

Hopefully I will get better with more practice. I will try keeping it tighter and stay smooth. It just all seems to happen so fast.....

Yup work up to speed, you dont want to ever feel like you are out of control and "reacting" to whats happening, know what you want to do in each corner ahead of time.
