Rear hub mod for open track.

My last rear hubs only lasted 3 days on ubers!

I looked into the beam mod to fit the G6 hubs but the ABS won't work - not good for me. Plus my wife likes to drive it on a lapping day with the ESC on.

The front SS/TC hubs are very strong - I checked mine over after last season and they were still perfect. That was after two years of hard abuse, so I figured why not put them on the rear...

All I had to do was to drill a hole for the ABS wire and machine an adapter. Everything turned out great, ABS and ESC still works

Venom, this mod which we do in grand am racing, is a good one. BUT very bad things will happen to you at the track if you do not put a shaft or large bolt with washers through the wheel bearing and clamp it to about 130 ft lbs torque. do it before your wife needs to cash in your life insurance policy...

Did I say it was a bad mod? No. Like I said I want my ABS to work and this works fine for me.

"life insurance" ... really??

They are right. Your wheel bearing will come apart if you leave it like that.

To use a bolt thru is pretty obvious to me. This is not my first time modding or making custom racecar parts. Been doing it for over 15 yrs...

I took a pic to show fitment only not the finished product.

I do not joke around with death related comments when it comes to Mosport. I did not find it funny...

Perhaps you shouldn't imply your project is finished when its missing a bolt to hold the bearing together. You might know better but I guarantee someone who doesn't know better will attempt to copy your mod trying to solve the same problem.
