So koni challenge?
So what's the reseason that they have to run turbo instead of supercharge or use both besides being in the rules and stuff cause I wanted to take the test for the racing license but if I need a newer car I guess its pointless huh lol
You could run an LSJ if you wanted to though.
A far as "taking the test". Do you already have an SCCA, IRL, NASCAR, NHRA, IMSA, or USAC professional competition license? (I am guessing not) Because if you dont you wont be able to be licensed by the FIA and you wont be able to get a Grand American License afaik.
A GA license also costs $600 per year for GA membership plus $225 for FIA licensing.
Of course lets not forget the $2000 per race, per car entry fee, crew fees, entrant fees, etc, etc.....youre probably looking at a minimum of $5000 just in fees to run ONE race.
Lets Take your $5000 for fees, youll need a $65,000 car(to buy a used one), at least $2,000 in tires, $1500+ in timing electronics, $1000+ for suit, $800+ for HANS, $800+ for helmet, shoes, gloves. lets say $200+ in fuel.
This is just bare minimums for ONE car, for ONE race, assuming that nothing breaks, you dont practive much, and you teleport your car and crew.
Theres a reason cars have sponsors, it isnt cheap(well compared to other pro-racing it isnt expensive, but anyway)
Yea I've done my reaserch and yes its expensive ass hell lol but I was just wondering bout the car if im not gonna be able to run my sc what's the point of trying. I was reading bout getting the scca and whatever else I need and hoping for a sponsor and pray that my car doesn't break down to crash it in the process.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say that there is NO F'N WAY you can race your street Balt, or alternately drive a built race Balt on the street, assuming you had the easily $20,000 just to make it legal, nevermind competitive.
Have you ever seen a Koni Challenge Balt up close?
Good luck. SCCA SSC racing is much more accesible and cheaper to boot, you can get a ready to race car for under $20k.
