I would say absolutely not!!!!!!! You're not even allowed to warm up your tires pre-race so I would HIGHLY doubt they'd allow that. Nor would most reputable road courses, they typically frown on any sort of chemical compound that comes in contact with the pavement.

That is what I thought... I did see one guy wrapping his tires in this foil lookin stuff to try and keep them warm though

They put VHT down when they do those illegal street drags in Chicago and Texas in the middle of the street with their like 8-9 second drag cars. They race for money, it's pretty sick

Completley agree... that is a helluva big NO NO for SCCA Autocrosses. If you use that ( even at home ) and the tech guy sniffs it, you're not gonna pass.

No traction aides of this nature and others are allowed for solo.

The only thing this is good for might be for drag racing, keeping your tires gummy when you're storing them between events.
