Not sure how the run groups will work out. But, if we can do the swap you can try my 1.25 at NCAC in Charlotte if you come out. The oversteer is highly over exaggerated.

Mark, I've been checking around it seems like I should get 2 sets of fronts to one set of rears with the staggered set-up. I talked to a really great alignment guy and may try a touch of rear toe out and keep the front at zero to help with tire wear. Your probably right and I might hate it. lol But, I'll still have the Hankooks to try with the new suspension setup first, thanks for the advise.

I would honestly try the staggered setup before going with rear toe out. Good luck!

From what I understand the RX8 is very track dependent, much like what I think a good preped cobalt will be. As for the 89 civic it wont be allowed in STX next year. The SCCA is going to close the rule hole lol. Now I think they can run STX if the put an LSD in but that would just suck cause i think killing the civic si in all other classes but ST is a good thing.

A little bit off topic, but would my car be in the STX class?

GM Stage 3, intake, and Powell hardcore rear bar are the only mods I have.

No, you would be in SMF. Cannot do anything to change boost in STX.

I am pretty sure you cannot change blower pullies in DSP either, although you are permitted to raise boost on turbocharged vehicles. This may have changed though, I am not sure.

Drove like crap at the North Carolina Autocross Championship and should have run on my all seasons cause the 255s were toast. But, figured I'd drop a couple cool pics here.

Picks are great. I know if I go STX I won't be racing at nationals next season but doing some local development.

Someone should make up a letter to e-mail the scca on the tune issue. See what they say. My guess it won't be allowed but then we have the right info from the people incharge.

Alright guys I am working on my letter to send the SCCA. If you could send me some PMs with info on how the stock tune works, and what the GMS1 tune works that would be great. Cut down on my reserch time lol.

alright guys i sent in my letter to the SEB asking if this tune is legal or not.

SEB Letter Submission Form

I used a few links found on here and on SCCA forums so we will see, but I would also ask that others send in their letter to the link above. I think with a few more letters and more info it can be good for us getting the GMPP S1 tune in the class.

Alright guys. Per Brian Hammer of the SCCA technical service specialist, the GMS1 tune is not legal for STX because we have to use different sensors.

I expected to hear that but it's good to know from someone in the scca. Now to search for someone who can tune a car per the rules... If anyone lol

Did you ask if the same "tune" would be legal if done with Trifecta (keeps stock sensors)?
