Video from Hillclimb this weekend

Some of you might enjoy this. My second best run in my Z06 at the Pagoda Hillclimb this weekend. First event with the car. Stock with exhaust, disconnected ABS, and used A6s.

I dunno if it's just me but at about 1:34 I let out an audible, "OH MY GOD!" as you approached that open section of the guard rail right as you turned away.

Nice vid. Great driving. Thanks for sharing.

Car tops out around 70 in second, around that in the tighter sections, nearing redline in fourth in the fast section, indicated around 125 (admittedly didn't look too closely). They had a radar gun as well which showed 117 under braking. The full course which we run in the late summer will see speeds approaching 140.

That looks like too much fun!

Just checked the site and read all about the event, very legit. Wish there were events like this around my area.

Its a closed road with corner workers, ambulance and state police. The state police are there more so to keep the drunk spectators in line. All cars and drivers have saftey equipment and Time Trial licenses. So theres no speed limit for us, its flat out as fast as you can go.

I was talking about the actual speed limit. Like when the road is public

Not sure if you have seen the speeds they got on radar in turn 1, but we were both going through at nearly identical speeds, 102.

I watched your video and compared it to mine. It looks like you were getting on the brakes before me, probably cause you were carrying more speed. But it didn't registrar on the radar cause you already slowing. My vid is now on you tube under rfh54321

The speeds were actually from turn 1, not after it from what I was told.

Ha! I thought the elbow was T1. Just looked at a course map, I never knew that was an actual # turn.
