What is my car worth?

I am posting here because this is not your "normal" Cobalt and I am not sure what is fair for this kind of Cobalt. Once I have an idea of its value I'll put it up for sale...

You guys seen all the video's. Great car, but I want RWD again.
Well sorted and (finally) reliable open track SS/TC with everything, extra rims, tires etc plus all the original parts to go back to stock.

09 SS/TC Sedan G85, under 30 000km's.

What do you think?

im confused... you already have a RWD car, so what do you mean wanting rwd again? You have a cobra lol

And your car isnt that rare, its not heavily modded, it ran well because of the driver, you can hop into any TC cobalt with the same fairly basic mods and put you behind the wheel and run all those same lap times.

A guy that I know got 9k$ for a trade in on a mustang gt for his 2008 ss/tc with 75k km. My girlfriend got 10k$ for a g5 gt with almost the same milleage. SS/Tc aren't worth anything in Canada, they seem to get a better trade in / resale value in the us. I wanted a genesis coupe with the 2.0t and the lsd, but I would get about 8k on a trade in for mine, so I said f that, I won't give the car away and will end up keeping it for a long time.

Your best bet is to sell private.

In canada, Id say 17-20. Considering you have lots of extra's and your car is still in mint condition and retains factory warranty.

The Cobra is sold. I am thinking Corvette next if the Cobalt sells.

I know it is not rare or highly modded. Just that it has been raced and that scare people...

But it is in almost new condition, I really don't want to give it away for 15.

17-20 sounds better.

One friend got $18,500 for his 09TC on Kijiji and had more than 30k on it, the other I think ballpark of $18,000 (09 white tc sedan with GMS1, Hahn Catless DP) with 36,000km or something on it. Came GMS1 w/ K&N intake, winter tires, etc. They seem to be going for around $18,000 used on average...I'd start around that ballpark and see where you end up . Be prepared for a lot of lowballing . Dealer trade-in will make you sick, $11,000-$12,000 on average, **** on that.

Actually the 09 SS sedan is kinda rare(I've seen figures from GM showing less than 500). I bought a 15,000 mile GM certified sedan out of Mississippi back in February for $14,900 and recently another one for my wife out of Calgary with winters and 40k for $13,000 but it was hit in the rear( new bumper cap and truck lid) at the 10k mark so that was reflected in the price. I think the 17-18 range would be a good deal for anyone. When I bought the first car I couldn't find a single one for sale in Canada and as of late I've only seen two and I bought one of them.

You aren't getting 17 for it, despite what some people may think modifications lower vehicle resale value. You're best bet is taking it back to stock, unless you find someone like minded who might be willing to pay extra for modifications.

If you want people that are willing to buy it as a track car, try a racing classified like Grassroots Motorsports or something along those lines.
