Autocross and Road Racing Road racing is not “street racing”

What would cause this damage to a stainless steel braided brake line?

What would cause this damage to a stainless steel braided brake line?

09 TC Goodridge passenger side line as shown...ideas why?

Looks like it got pinched between the wheel and something else

That's initially what I thought but the line does not extend outside the barrel of the wheel until close to the plastic liner....I just thought of something as typing this...there were stones stuck to the Hoosiers. I'll check the steering clearance to the edge of the tire tomorrow. I previously thought a stone may have bounced into it but didnt know if that was enough force.

Make sure the line is the same length as the other side too

It appears slightly longer than the driver side from looking at the bows. I can measure that too. Has that been a problem?

Im not sure its common but if the line is too long it could be hitting things it shouldnt

The second one does seem kinda long.
Here's a picture one mine, I used the ZZP ones. Never had any issue like what you're having.
