so which would be more beneficial for torsional rigidity? UCRs or the Harness Bar? The Harness Bar would get a sticker in the middle that said "Because Racecar"...

Nothing racecar about a harness bar. A more accurate phrase would be "Because Poser".

Torsionally rigidity? Sub frame connectors. Well really a full cage is #1 way to increase torsional rigidity.

probably not your smartest comment. There is significant . measureable, cross car structural improvement joining the B pillar with a tube at the upper seat belt anchor.

Sure it is a smart comment. That's why so many race cars run around with harness bars, right? How many people install harness bars for structural rigidity? And how safe do you think a harness bar and four point harnesses are in a track car?

My statement is pretty accurate, 90% of guys with harness bars are posers, the other 10% are stupid for taking a car on track with four point harnesses and no rollover protection (not even going to begin the discussion on the stupidity of four points in the first place, i.e, no crotch strap).

I will pass on the miniscule increase in structural rigidity and not get paralyzed or killed in a rollover. For an autocross car they are fine, but you won't catch anyone with half of a brain on a track with a harness bar, harnesses, and no rollover protection.

And when you challenge someone's intelligence, punctuation helps, a lot.

I was making a reference to it making the backseat useless... I have no intentions on putting a harness in the car, it would be there purely to stiffen the chassis.

I sure hope you dont leave anything unsecured inside of the passenger compartment. Loose objects may cause serious harm or even kill you in a collision!
