WTF? Is anyone here?
WTF? Is anyone here?
dey, I can't monitor threads constantly, but is there really no interest in this sub-forum? I still want to hear from you auto-x junkies:!!! Do I need to say WTF repeatedly, I just don't know... I'm a racer, not a blogger, or online WTFer. Really. I want to talk to other "real-peep" Cobalt runners. I want to make an HHR win!
Meh. I've only done the South track at Autobahn, and it's not my fav.
I already have two track days at Road America for next season with groups I've ran with before, just waiting for them to open registration... One in May and one in June.
Then I'll plan on doing a couple days out at Blackhawk with the Milwaukee and Chicago SCCA groups, and call that good for the season. Chicago has their track day schedule out, Milwaukee doesn't.
As far as AutoX goes, Milwaukee has it's schedule out, Chicago doesn't. But I have little interest in that, so I don't care that much. I'll probably still do one or two if I have friends who convince me to show up.
Off season. I've gotten work on the car done though.
Swapped ruined trans. You'd best think twice about a lot of power on track. It's just a matter of time.
A bunch of mods on my Duramax. It's my zombie apocalypse vehicle. I keep waiting for snow, but none so far
If you're in MI, ice racing season isn't too far away. You need 12" of ice on a lake. Then it's time to have a little fun.

What power mods did/do you have Wangspeed?
I plan on tracking my Cobalt next year... does everything OEM hold up?
In my G8, the oil gets too hot after about 10 minutes
stock oiling system just isn't up to the task.

you have nothing to worry about... just make sure you have decent pad life "only if they are stock" and change your fluid to something a bit more high temp than stock
This car needs nothing, unless you want to go faster.... springs/bars/tires etc...
