Changing Needle Color

This is the way we do it, the explanation goes into a lot of detail but it is really simple.

what if you just took off the red paint and kept it clear? this is assuming you used your led kit.

We have not tried it without the paint, but you might get a flood of light around the needle making it difficult to see the needle.
No harm to try before you paint the needle to see if you like the effect.
