When I bought the relay harness, Did I need to buy 2 of them? One for each headlight or does it work with one of the harnesses? Boy am I a ******* when it comes to putting these things in. I have also been following the instructions and the wires are different. Why do I have a blue instead of a red wire on my plugs?

 

u just need 1 relay for both headlights.

 

ha ha thanks but now I am looking at these and the instructions from online do not match the wiring harness that I have. Does anyone have a walkthrough of these that is current?

 

Pic of ur harness will help but ull have two ground one on each side one positive to ur fuse box two hid plugs on each side one to the ballaston each side and ur main plug from the projector if u have them

 

Pictures would help a lot. You only need one Relay harness for your headlights. As for the different colored wires just make sure the matching color matches

 

found out that I had a regular H1 Harness and needed a H1 Retro Harness. I was going crazy thinking how I was going to plug into the stock blue connector. Thanks guys, looks like I just had the wrong equipment and should be ok when I get the correct stuff. The Buyhid's customer service was fast and finally we figured out that I had the wrong set up. I am running the mini H1's projectors and couldn't hook them up to my stock cobalt plugs. I cant wait to get this new harness and get my lights in. Hopefully won't take long because the car goes away once the bad weather comes (in Ohio its right around the corner).
